Happy Resurrection Day! I just watched “The Passion of the Christ” again. This time, I noticed for the first time, that the inscription written by Pilate was missing one language (Greek), and the penultimate scene in the movie is straight out of a medieval painting. This doesn’t really mean anything, I just noticed it. Something else occurred to me, why is it that no one who depicts the crucifixion in film, shows the dead coming out of their tombs (Matt. 27:52-53)? No film of Christ’s crucifixion that I’ve ever seen has shown this. You know what else, I’ve never noticed that before now.

Snow

I’ve decided I don’t like snow. Or rather I like snow, I just don’t like shoveling it. Really, the snow isn’t so bad, it’s the 4-inches of compacted sleet under the snow that’s killing me. Why can’t the snow fall only on the grass, and leave my driveway and walk alone?

Welcome to McPhitty’s Musings. I’ve moved my site to GoDaddy, because they offer more space than my old hosting provider, and they support Java. For the time being, my archive is down, but I’ll see if I can get it restored. My user accounts are also down right now (sorry, I’m working on that too). I just got the site up on the new server today, so things are kind of in flux.
